When I first learned about no-dig gardens and built one for myself, I was so impressed that I started building them for friends and family.  I was buying all the ingredients in bags from hardware and garden stores and was amazed at how expensive it worked out doing it that way.

There’s nearly half a tonne of dirt in a 3 metre garden!  I found that if I bought all the materials in bulk, I could pass on the savings.
